UC Electronic Records Day webinar, on November 1st at 10AM.

Brought to you by the UC Systemwide Records Management Committee, this year’s talk will be about the management of COVID-19 related records. Register to attend! Please message records@ucop.edu with any questions.

Here are the bios for our speakers:

  •  Jackie DiOrio, Records Management, UCOP. Jackie DiOrio has been working in records management at UCOP for four years, and in university records management for eight. She splits her time between tinkering in OnBase, working to improve records management practices at UCOP, looking for the most interesting items in UCOP’s electronic archive, and petting her pug, Bug. Before coming to UC, she was the university archivist at Marshall University and received her master’s degree in the science of information from the University of Michigan.
  • Jennifer Loftus, Ethic, Compliance and Audit Services, UCOP. Jennifer Lofthus is new to UCOP this year as a general compliance manager. She assists the systemwide privacy officer in coordinating campus privacy initiatives among other compliance projects. Prior to UCOP, she served as an ADA, policy, and compliance officer at UC Santa Barbara from 2016-2021 and before that practiced civil litigation with a small firm in Santa Barbara. Jennifer loves all things compliance, cooking, and Jane Austen, and spends her free time with her husband and daughter (aptly named Austen) enjoying the great outdoors.
  • Matt Stahl, University Archives, UCSB. Matt Stahl has been the UCSB university archivist since 2017. Prior to this, he served as the inaugural archivist for the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation from 2013 to 2017. Matt also has an extensive background in secondary and higher education, having worked as an academic advisor at the University of Maryland, and as a history and economics teacher in the South Pasadena Unified School District in California. He holds an MA in history and a master’s degree in library science, both from the University of Maryland.
